I did not cart it around or jostle it. The TV was great when it was working. I purchased this TV through Best Buy for much more $$ than it is listed for on Amazon. Then one day it would not turn on. After a little more than a year it is dead as a doornail. It sat on my dresser for months. For the amount of money you pay for it, it should last longer than one year. TV's should be more reliable than a $10 coffee maker.
Loved this TV. But as noted in other reviews sound quality an volume lacking.gave to my daughter who now loves it in her bedroom.i moved up to a LG 22LH20 nice TV but same lack of volume.now looking into a soundbar speaker setup
Our Toshiba loses its memory for a single channel, interestingly the strongest channel, in our area. The only recourse is to rescan, taking about 2-3 minutes when this happens, and it happens two or three times a week. We tried the double rescan process recommnended by Toshiba and a similar process found on the internet, but neither has fixed the problem.Contacting Toshiba customer service reveals that to get warranty service on it requires us to send it off, at our cost, to the east coast for servicing. If the service center finds no problem, the service work is on us, also.I find that to be totally unacceptable, and will live with it until it ticks me off enough and then buy a Sony or Sharp, as I should have in the first place.
we have 5 tvs and the 2 toshibas are crisp and clear with great color
After 6 months of liking this TV, I am dealing with having about 10 minutes of viewing before it stops, then comes back on, then stops, then pixillates.Any similar issues out there.
